Frequent nightmares can negatively impact you in a number of ways, such as losing sleep or inflicting psychological distress. If you’re suffering from frequent nightmares, the following spell may help you.
What you need:
About 15 to 30 minutes before bedtime, light your lavender incense and black candle. Sit in front of the candle comfortably, either on the floor or in a chair.
Focus on the flame of the candle for a few moments and then close your eyes gently. You should still be able to see the dancing flames through your closed eyelids.
Imagine all of the stress and negative energy flowing from your body into the candle — using the black of the candle as a sort of magnet for all of the bad vibes that may be causing your bad dreams. To visualize this, you can picture a trail of black shadow leaving you and flowing into the candle as it burns. Visualize it in anyway that you’re comfortable doing.
While you visualize all of the nightmare energy leaving your aura field, make sure you breathe rhythmically and deliberately. Doing so puts you in a meditative state as you focus on ridding yourself of any energy that could be causing your frequent nightmares. Now is the time for you to also cite any mantras that you may want to use, though this is absolutely not required.
Snuff out the candle and/or incense and go to bed. Do not think about your spell. Do not think about your nightmares. Enjoy any of the relaxed feelings that this meditative ritual afforded you, and allow that relaxed sensation to put you to sleep without giving any thought to your bad dreams.
You may repeat this spell as often as you need — such as any time you feel like your nightmares are becoming too frequent. It’s also important to tackle the causes of your nightmares, which could be caused by real-life stress. If you’re experiencing stress at work, home or in a romantic relationship your subconscious could be going in to over drive during sleep cycles. Consider addressing those factors before casting this spell.
