Joe Biden is the next president of the United States, reducing Donald Trump to a one-term-POTUS. Millions of Americans spoke out against Donald with their votes, and showed him that he won’t be bullying people from behind the walls of the Oval Office any longer. Native Americans, Black Americans, LGBTQ voters, young people who are fed up with lax gun laws and a huge variety of others cast their votes, leading to Trump’s downfall — but I’d also like to believe that the magical resistance played a role in this election as well.
Even though Joe Biden has won the 2020 presidential election, Donald Trump and his brainwashed followers are pushing dangerous and anti democratic rhetoric in an attempt to delegimatize the win. From claims of voter fraud to conspiracy theories involving mass dumps of illegal ballots, the sore-loser energy is heavy right now — and it’s clear that Joe Biden is under attack.
Witches, our work isn’t done even though Donald Trump has been successfully defeated. Joe Biden and Vice President Elect Kamala Harris need our blessings and protections with just as much urgency as we worked to take down Trump. We are in a critical moment in history with the election of the America’s first Black Vice President, first female Vice President and the first Vice President that was born of two immigrant parents. The GOP, Donald Trump and their deranged following are going to do everything possible to sully that.
From now until January, on the night of every full moon, consider lighting a white candle of protection and healing to help protect Joe Biden and ensure the healing of our nation through the removal of a four-year-mistake.
