One witchy way you can treat yourself during this time of year is to pour yourself a spiritual botanical bath. The following is a self love springtime bath ritual that will help you feel renewed and ready to flourish through the upcoming season.
What you need:
Fresh-gathered flowers or herbs
Your favorite candles (1 is enough, but you can use as many as your heart desires)
Your favorite bath oil or bubblebath
Ambient sounds or music

The day of your self love bath ritual, gather as many fresh flowers and herbs as you can. If you’re fortunate enough to grow your own flowers, now is the time to take advantage of their magical and beautifying properties. Roses, carnations, lemongrass, jasmine flowers and even savory herbs like basil and rosemary make for good botanicals to uplift a spiritual bath. If you cannot obtain any fresh-gathered plants, store-bought, as usual, is fine. Even the roses from a grocery store bouquet can be helpful. If you don’t have access to any of these things, herbal teabags can also be used.
Surround your bath area with the candles you’ve chosen — making sure to keep fire safety in mind while doing so. Choose colors and scents that make you feel happy and energized or ready to conquer the world. Choose candles that inspire feelings of confidence. Once you’ve arranged and lighted the candles, turn off any artificial lighting that’s in the room. Begin running your bathwater, adding your favorite bath oil or bubblebath as it runs. Dump in your fresh-gathered botanicals at this time (or throw in your herbal teabag if you’re working in a pinch). Allow the room to fill with the aroma of your bath as it fills. Once the tub is as full as you want it to be, climb inside and allow yourself to enjoy the warm, fragrant water.
